Public Meeting on the New Part B Regulations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act

The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute and the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida is pleased to host a public meeting on the new Part B regulations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

The meeting will be held on September 27, 2006 from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

In this meeting, John Hager, Assistant Secretary, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) and Alexa Posny, Director, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), will review the major concepts and principle changes in the new regulations and provide resources from OSERS that will assist in the implementation of these regulations.

The meeting will include an informal reception to meet John Hager and Alexa Posny at 5:30 p.m. and a public presentation with Questions/Answers at 6:30 p.m.. The meeting will be held in Traditions Hall of the USF Gibbons Alumni Center, University of South Florida, 4202 E Fowler Ave, Tampa FL 33620 (Red Brick Building).
